Rooster Homes
Privacy Policy
How losfelizevents.com collects, uses and protects your information, who receives it, and how to reach Rooster Homes about your data or messages.
What this site collects
This website is run by Rooster Homes (DRE #02051216). When you fill out a form on this site, we collect the information you enter: your first name, last name, email address, and, if you choose to give them, your phone number, a message, and the answers to any extra questions that form asks, such as the property you would like to see.
If you give a phone number and check the box agreeing to receive text messages, we record that you agreed, the exact wording you were shown, and the date and time. We also note which page or campaign brought you to the site, such as a link from an email or an advertisement. That describes the link, not you.
Like most websites, the servers that deliver this site keep standard technical logs, such as the pages requested and the time of the request. We do not ask for or collect payment information, Social Security numbers, or government ID numbers through this site.
When you submit an event
When you submit an event, we collect the event details you enter, your name and email address, and, if you add them, a flyer and a private note for us. Once we approve the event, its details (the name, date, time, place, price, host, description and link) appear on this site. Your name and email address stay private. We use them only to ask you about the event you sent.
If you choose to show a contact name, email or phone number with your event, those appear on the event's page once it is approved. You pick each one, and we may leave any of them off. If you attach a flyer, your browser resizes it and removes hidden photo data, such as location, before it is sent. We show a flyer only after we review it.
Submitted events, flyers and your details are kept in a private GitHub repository that Rooster Homes controls. GitHub stores them on our behalf as a service provider. To have a submission and your details removed, email us at the address below.
Who receives it
When you submit a form, your information is sent to Lofty, the customer relationship system Rooster Homes uses to manage client follow-up. Lofty stores it on our behalf as a service provider.
If you use the chat assistant on this site, your messages are sent to Anthropic, the company that provides the Claude AI model that writes the replies. Anthropic processes them on our behalf as a service provider. Please do not share sensitive personal or financial details in the chat. For anything about your own situation, call or email us instead.
This site is hosted by Vercel, which delivers the pages and processes the technical logs described above as our service provider.
The maps on this site are provided by Google Maps. When a page with a map loads, your browser connects to Google to display it, and Google's own privacy policy applies to that connection.
When you type in the street address box on the submit form, what you type is sent to Photon, a free address search run by Komoot on OpenStreetMap data, so it can suggest matching addresses. Only the address text is sent, not your name or email.
If you visit this site, Meta, Google and Microsoft also receive information about your visit through the advertising and analytics tools described below. Lofty and our hosting provider handle your information on behalf of Rooster Homes. We do not sell your personal information.
Advertising and analytics
This site uses three tools that help us understand visits and show our advertising to people who have been here before, often called retargeting.
- Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, the company behind Facebook and Instagram). It tells Meta that a browser visited this site, which pages it viewed, and when a form was submitted, so our ads on Facebook and Instagram can reach past visitors and measure which ads led to an inquiry.
- Google tag (Google Analytics). It counts visits, shows which pages are read and where visitors came from, and records when a form was submitted.
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft). It records how visitors move through pages, such as clicks, scrolling and where people stop reading, and turns that into heatmaps and session replays so we can see which parts of the site are hard to use. Clarity hides what you type into forms and other sensitive text by default, and we keep that setting on.
These tools use cookies and similar technology in your browser. They receive information about your visit, such as pages viewed, the browser and device, and the approximate location that comes with an internet connection. We never send your name, email address, phone number, or anything you type into a form to Meta, Google or Microsoft. An event only says that an inquiry happened, never who made it.
You can limit this at any time. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings. You can manage ads you see through your Facebook and Instagram ad preferences and through Google's My Ad Center, and you can use Google's browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics. You can opt out of Microsoft Clarity by blocking cookies for this site or by visiting Microsoft's privacy page at privacy.microsoft.com.
How it is used
We use the information you send through our contact forms to answer your request, schedule showings, and follow up with you about buying or selling a home. Event submissions are used only as described above. If you sign up for the weekly email, we use your first name and email address to send it, starting with a short welcome email. Every one includes a way to unsubscribe. We may also send you marketing email, such as market updates, new listings, and articles from our blog. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can opt out at any time.
We keep your contact details in our system so we can continue to serve you, and we remove them when you ask us to.
Calls and text messages
We only text a phone number when its owner has agreed to receive text messages from Rooster Homes. If you give a phone number without checking the text-message box, we do not send it to our system for texting.
Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help, or contact us using the details below.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any email, and stop text messages by replying STOP.
To make a request, email hello@roosterhomes.com or call (323) 201-2724. We will respond as soon as we reasonably can.
If we make a material change to this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date below.
